NOTES: 1) These prices are inclusive of erection on a firm concrete foundation within a 25 mile radius of Bognor Regis. ALL OUR HEADSTONE ON BASES ARE FIXED WITH THE NAMM ANCHOR SYSTEM, FOR SUPERIOR STABILITY.- 2) EXTRAS a) Inscription and any Churchyard/Cemetery Fees. b) Scale drawings can be supplied and are charged from Ł70.00 each, 50% of the cost will be deducted from the final account should you proceed. Modifications to drawings will be charged from Ł35.00 each and added to the Final Account. c) Extra Services, i.e. meeting in Cemetery/Churchyard at a specific time will be charged at Ł35.00 per hour, including travelling time, up to a maximum of Ł70.00 whichever is less. all prices are inclusive of V.A.T. at 17.5%

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THE LETTERING IS CARRIED OUT RAISED LEAD LETTERING The letter is marked on the surface of the stone, holes are then drilled in it and the lead is beaten over the surface. The finished letter is the trimmed off and painted with enamel or where gilded the surface of the letter is treated with a special undercoat and covered with gold leaf. INCISED AND PAINTED/GILDED LETTERS The letter is cut in the surface of the stone and either painted with enamel or treated with a special undercoat and covered with gold leaf. INCISED AND FILLED WITH IMPERISHABLE LEAD LETTERING The letter is incised in the stone, holes are then drilled in the centre of the letter and lead is beaten in flush with the surface. INCISED ONLY The letter is cut in the surface of the stone, with no other treatment. INCISED AND FILLED WITH COMPOSITION The letter is cut in the surface of the stone, then a special composition is trowelled over the lettering, after this has set the surface is rubbed off leaving the letter showing clearly. BAS-RELIEF The back is blasted away leaving the letters proud on the stone, this requires minimum maintenance.
