The Monumental Company is an independent family business, owned by Stewart Earl and Penny Keen. With over 70 years combined experience, they fully appreciate that a time of bereavement is a difficult one for any family and together provide a very personal service.

Highly experienced and creative masons under the direct supervision of Stewart Earl, design and produce memorials of great beauty and artistic achievement. These talented craftsmen take pride in their finished work, ensuring that it is of the highest quality. The masons will supply an illustrated brochure giving an introduction to their creative scope or you can visit their workshop and lettering studio. 

We also work to the highest technical standards and all our headstone on base memorials are fixed using the new BS8415 safety anchor system for superior stability.

Graveyards, Cemeteries and their memorials are one of the most valuable sources of local history, often they are of scenic quality, but in all cases they tell a story that is more vivid than many written records. A walk around them brings back the past in a way that few other places or things can do.
